Last weekend the sun shone out, the wind hid away, and Chris and I crept out on a Sunday for some daylight and nibbles. We walked over to Soderberg and feasted on cardamom hot chocolates and buns, brunch pizza, and smoked salmon with eggs. The Scandinavian inspired space is unsurprisingly beautiful, and absolutely drenched with light on a sunny day, so we sat happily and absorbed the warmth. After we finished eating we walked down through the meadows as the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and that doesn’t usually last very long. Although it wasn’t the warmest of temperature, we made the most of the beautiful light and cheerfully bounced our way through the park. We ended the evening with homemade banana bread and a movie, thoroughly delighting in what felt like a proper Sunday in spring.
